Too many variables to give you a definitive answer.

If jumping, the success requires an appropriate height, and landing surface.

If using SN, the particular dose tailored to your body would be needed. You'd also have to account for loss due to vomiting. SN poisioning is fairly easily reversable in an emergency room, so you'd have to factor that chance in as well.

Jump: sudden death
SN: Waiting for the chemical to fully take effect Both are successful depending on how well you do.

SN is my n. 1 method and jumping n. 2. I personally think they're both the best methods. Maybe combining them doesn't have to be a bad idea. As long as you start feeling the effects of SN, you can jump. The reliability would be then close to 100 %.

In clinical reports, it's never been reported that SN takes 8 hours to death. Perhaps to be found, but never that long to die.

I'm not an expert or anything, but I think jumping has a greater chance of success compared to SN (if done from the correct height). However, I still think SN is a better method because if you fail at SN, you probably won't have lasting side effects, whereas if you fail at jumping, you will be extremely screwed. Before I learned about SN and N, I had been planning to jump, but luckily I realized that I shouldn't since there wasn't a clear path to the ground. It's a shame because if the path were clear, it would have certainly worked (the building was 37 stories high).
