SN and checking it's legit, testing

Hi, I'm thinking of getting some SN from a food website source that someone kindly recommended.

Can anyone PM me to check that this source is legit before I spend the money? (Or PM sources)

I can also buy two packets; it's expensive though. I know it will spoil if I open to test (and that have to open vcarefully).
I can also get nitrite testing strips from PPH but don't know if they would work to say purity.

Can anyone let me know if they have had any problems with police etc after buying SN? Any safety measures?

Can't really help you on the police and source stuff since where I live I managed to order it and get it in literally 2 days online...
but I was reading resources on SN the other day and it was mentioned that opening and closing it fast wont make a problem? and clumps are fine too

If you are getting it from a food website, it is very likely that you would only receive the curing salt, which is not pure enough for cbt.

Mine was food grade and it said 99% pure.

I think the OP is talking a very specific "food" website that offers only SN (at a higher price).
They are reliable and the purity is over 95%.

You wouldn't have any legal issues as SN is not an illegal substance in most countries. No problems, no seized packages, no wellness visits. Unless you live with family of course who may be suspicious/nosy.

Do you mind me asking what area of the world you live in?
Where I got it from, it's sent internationally so it will take several weeks. I've heard of places doing it a lot faster, though.

It does say in PPH that you might get some... that's what made me worry. But I can see that it's not likely!

well Im in middle east in a country where its sanctioned heavily so I had to acquire it locally
edit: what was interesting for me personally was a lot of "chemical" stuff and lab stuff atleast here are not easy to acquire, like you have to have a license or something that proves you are working in a lab or university or something but this was really easy... like they didn't even asked anything and just was like a normal package so that was surprising for me personally

Mine is technical grade, 99%, from a food-related source. Have the aquarium kit but haven't tested it yet.
