SN 98% purity

My SN is 98% pure, these are the indications

My question is that reading the guide

puts it needs to be at least 99% pure

Solution - Will It Go Bad Quickly? DO NOT. Only After Few Hours. Strong Solution Like Ours (40%) is potent and durable. Weaker Solutions Will React to Create Nitrates (Aquarium). Labs Store 40% Solution In Room Temperature, Open and Close IT, So Some Oxygen Is Fine. This is when 99% SN is needed. Pure 100%, Required in Delicate Biochem Tests (DNA), Must Be Prepreden Freshly. BUT 99% is Fine for US. Labs Use purified Water and Under Sterile Condition.

So I'm worried about if my SN is not good enough, do you think it worked?

Why wouldn't it work? The "guide" stating only 99% would work is stupid and flagrantly wrong. What happens at 98.9% purity?

All that matters is enough SN is consumed. 5% SN would work if enough is consumed.

I can't seem to open that topic on my phone, but the consensus is it needs to be at least 95% pure, not 99%. Just to be sure though as even lower numbers will work. Remember, 2 gr the lethal dose and for CTB 25 gr is recommended. So don't worry about a few percentages.

Purity would only matter in the amount you would have to use. Let's say you got solute (powder) that was only 80% pure. If you need 25g at 100% purity, you would need 25g/0.80 = 31.25g of the solute to achieve the same concentration.
