In my experience, doctors, especially psychiatrists, have never told me about withdrawal when antidepressants are withdrawn. Of course, this is not only the case with "happy drugs". It happens with every drug. This has not only happened to me, but to thousands of patients who are administered these happy drugs. The severity of withdrawal depends on how long it has been taken and the dose. The strong anxiety that runs through the body, the constant fatigue, the decrease in appetite, the anguish that presses on the chest, are some of the symptoms that patients experience when they stop taking their medicine.

They don't even talk about the side effects of medications. How is it possible that these two delicate health issues are not reported to patients or family members?

This is why they usually wean you off when you go off. Did you just stop them and not wean? I hope you feel better soon.

This happened to me in the summer of this year. Unfortunately, I had to consume them again since I fell to the hospital because I couldn't take it anymore. Enduring two months with abstinence. In the final days, I began to lose consciousness.

The funny thing is that I stopped taking them on my own. It was authorized by my ex-psychiatrist.

Thanks for your good vibes! :)

You're right. Steroids are really bad, too. They take over for your glands, and if stopped too abruptly, you can have life-endangering situations.

It is all part of a business . Most of them do not care about the effects it could have once one goes off of them. For them it matters nothing as they are getting paid regardless. All the psychiatrists I have seen (which has been more than six) have never told me nothing about withdrawal, just because it is not convenient and because its me dealing with that later, not them.

They definitely never tell you about any types of those withdrawals. The pharmaceutical companies make A HUGE amount of profits from all of their depression medications. It's disgusting. Most of them say, "The direct mechanism of how this medication works is unknown". And most also carry the warning, "Suicidal thoughts may occur". The drug companies get away with so much. And they hand them out like candy. And they don't do shit. I've been on a few meds, and they did nothing for me.
