Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

There is this prom in February for my graduation class and I don't know if I should go. I never went partying, I already know that I won't like the music and I don't drink alcohol at all.
It's just that all my friends of my class are going there. I never had this fear of missing out the other times my friends went partying without me but this is different. I know that I would just be out of place here but despite that I also have this feeling that it could be fun. I don't know what I would do there, but it could be fun.

I have a free ticket so there won't be any loss if I decide to go. But I don't like to waste time, you know?

I need some opinions on what you guys would do. Should I stay or should I go?

I'd say go. The people are often what make these things fun, and you've mentioned you have some friends who are going. The wrong event with the right people can still be a laugh, and at least a funny story. The right event with the wrong people will rarely be fun. That's my experience, anyway!

Plus, if you start to have a terrible time, you can (presumably) just leave?

Thank you for your advice. Yes, I do have the option to just leave so there is not much lost I guess.

Thank you again.
