It's gonna be impossible to ensure adequate CO concentration with burning charcoal. Burning also produces many other gases that will make it very uncomfortable for you. Not gonna be painless.Too many variables. If you have access to concentrated formic and sulfuric acid I'd recommend you make yourself a CO generator. Instructions are included in the 2007 edition of the Peaceful Pill Handbook

I can't buy formic and sulfuric acids because my family will get suspicious and prevent me from buying them.

Should I put the coal briquette and container outside the car until the fire stops or do I put it in my car from the beginning? Also how many coals do I need?

Yeah you wanna wait until the fire is done and the coals are smoldering. Its the incomplete combustion that produces CO rather than CO2. Kinda like if you are cooking you wait until you see a bit a white ash on the coals then you know it's ready.

I have no idea how many coals would be required. I definitely think this is a bad idea all around. Extremely risky to both yourself (as you can be left with brain damage but alive) or others due to fire and secondary CO exposure.

I honestly don't believe formic and sulfuric acids are in anyway suspicious. They both have legitimate uses in the home. Formic acid for instance is great for limescale (cleaning toilets) and rust removal. Sulfuric acid is used for clearing drains. You can easily buy both chemicals in dilute solutions and you can concentrate them via evaporation.

Again this is an incredibly bad idea. Take some time and read up on other methods. You have options.

I'm sorry, I don't think I'll use formic and sulfuric acids. The instructions sound pretty complicated. I don't know how to create a COGenie. Sorry if I sound rude. Thank you for answering my questions.

I'm planning to buy a disposable bbq. Once the fire is done, do I put the disposable bbq on a water tray or do I take charcoals out and put them in another container to put on the water tray? (I try to put this question in another post but for some reason, it keeps appearing here. I don't know why. :notsure:)

I'm not really seeing how that would work, producing an adequate amount of CO without other gases that are gonna burn your lungs. Also, with O2-deprivation methods you always run the risk of starving your brain/organs of oxygen just long enough to really damage something without dying in the end. And then you will have just made everything much worse.

Feel free to shoot me a message if you wanna talk.

True; I was also looking into this method and had even bought a BBQ grill already. Then I read about the possible risks with failure and learned that it can even cause BLINDNESS! No way, I'm no longer considering this method.

I'm currently no longer suicidal but when I was I was planning on hanging myself. Coming away with brain damage and being like half a vegetable was one of my biggest fears. If I had had access to a gun I probably would have went for that but alas, it's basically impossible obtaining one. But yeah, oxygen deprivation methods seemed pretty peaceful overall but damn, the consequences of not succeeding are horrid lol.

Same for me, guns are impossible to obtain here in Europe - except for the very worst scum of humanity that murder innocent animals, obviously. Those things have guns.
I think drowning is fine.

Goddamn you're based as fuck haha. Totally agree, we've got all these rules in the society of how civilized peoples ought to treat each other and everything just goes out of the window when it comes to animals. Super disgusting.

Yes, I think the rules OUGHT to be very simple:
1) Don't take anyone's life who just wants to live, no matter what species of sentient being they are.
2) Allow all those to die who sincerely wish to die, instead of forcing them to keep suffering.

Hence why I'm vegan :)

I feel like if somebody is continuously suffering over years I agree with you. Problem being, in my experience a lot of the people here experience transient crisis that they can wait out and then often get somewhat better.

Dang it, I was thinking about using carbon monoxide until you mentioned about it causing blindness. I guess I won't CTB this way. I'm growing a little frustrated because I don't know what to do. I've read about the resources. Thank you for your response though.

About direct messages:
When you hover the cursor over someone's username or profile picture, a little preview window opens, at the bottom of it there usually are these four options: "Follow", "Ignore", "Start chat", and "Start conversation", you can use either of the latter two to contact them.
