My husband of 25 years has been cheating on me. He's not sorry and says I'm a monster. I have a daughter in college. My life insurance policy does pay out for suicide. I have enough to get my daughter through college. If I am truly a monster why should I stick around and hurt even more people? So I reached out to a friend. Said I wasn't ok. Said I was on a website to catch the bus. Of course they are "confused" and don't understand. Sigh. This is why we don't talk to people.

Most people can't cope with the concept of suicide - if it's brought up they just swiftly change the subject as if it was never mentioned.
This is funny to me because I literally lost my job because this friend went to a hotel and tried to shoot themselves in the head. I was there for them.Similar threads
