I wish there was a website that could help me SH with methods and tips on how to do it (semi-safely) and effectively. Like where to cut, how deep to cut, best razors, or other forms. Like how SASU has tips on proper methods and techniques for CTB'ing.

I would suggest searching Tumblr or Twitter. I'm in a Discord server where people openly ask for advice about cutting. Just use tags like shttwt

Edit: I've also heard people say they've found a lot of SH content on tik tok however I would personally recommend against it on principle alone. Tik Tok sucks and is way too addictive.

self harm won't fix anything, though you've probably heard that before. Have you considered eating a super unhealthy but yummy food. It's still self destructive enough to scratch that itch of wanting to hurt yourself but it's not as destructive, plus the taste can act as a pick me up. Sorry if this is unhelpful

Don't feel bad. I really appreciate the suggestion. I rather SH than eat unhealthy, because I want to function somewhat healthily for the time being.

i typically go to the sh reddit, it gives tips on how to clean it safely and how to hide it and etc. it still discourages it, but provides good resources nonetheless

Sadly most places are heavily censored, or you'll be banned for asking/discussing it. I've been looking for stuff like this myself for years and years, and not had much luck.

There ARE communities on twitter that you can find, but I really wouldn't trust anything you find there considering it's mostly extremely wreckless teenagers. Kind of a cesspit rather than a helpful resource. There's also some subreddits that have SH discussion, but you still have o tiptoe around certain things. And, there's a SH forum somewhat similar to this one, but it's pretty dead, and again, like most places I think they're really sensitive about direct discussions of methods.

Can offer tips from what I've done but yeah don't know of a website. You can try looking through any of the 8chan forums, sometimes there's useful information around and it's pretty low censor if any at all

Alternatively you can create a group for it's discussion. If you privacy then Signal is a good choice, Telegram is more user friendly though slightly less private

If you find one would love a hint for finding it too(or a dm ^^)

I think it'd be pretty low responsibility as long as everyone coming in has the understand of the kind of place you want it to be and that everything interacted with, learned, and undertaken is on their own accord with zero guarantee for safety or accuracy.

It could be more of a consolidating experiences and resources thing over an actual "tell people to go do it" kind of thing.

But I totally get the hesitation and if you think any of it might feel like your personal responsibly for the others then yeah, def not likely worth trying unless someone else takes lead instead.

Yeah. Personal and legal responsibility is main concerns.

I also wish there was a place for things like this, I personally have been having trouble with cutting faster and deeper but I'm not sure where to find help with that. I hope we're able to find the community we're looking for
