• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

It's paywalled so I haven't read it, but just saying someone survived 60g doesn't mean anything. Technically, you'd probably survive any amount of SN you take right outside a hospital. The 60g-person is completely irrelevant unless we know how soon they got medical help.

The estimated doses ingested ranged from 15 grams to 113 grams, with one patient surviving after an ingestion of 60 grams. The highest documented methemoglobin level was 73%. The 2 patients who survived received methylene blue early in their clinical course. One patient required higher doses of methylene blue compared with other cases of nitrite-associated methemoglobinemia. In the patients who survived, all symptoms resolved within 24 h.

So the two who survived received early treatment at a hospital.

Just found this article: https://www.jem-journal.com/article/S0736-4679(20)30580-1/fulltext , however it states the following thing:

"The estimated doses ingested ranged from 15 grams to 113 grams, with one patient surviving after an ingestion of 60 grams."

:ohhhh: :ohhhh: :ohhhh:
From what I've read taking doses over 25g doesn't increase the odds you die, it increases the odds you vomit. If you do everything you're supposed to and don't get caught mid overdose it's near guaranteed death.

Hopefully so!

I want death to be definite when reaching out to it... Even more so, if it's painful!
