• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I once had a private therapist tell me, you can take all the psych meds in the world but not one of them will give you a sense of belonging. I always thought it was poignant. As I try to gather more information on how to CTB, it becomes increasingly clear that I have never felt a sense of belonging anywhere, really. My hope has run out and my life does not feel like a life anymore.
Have you ever felt a sense of belonging?

No. And I know that I never will. That's because people are loathe to accept anyone just based on their character. It's highschool for life. If you are not healthier and more successful than the others they won't want anything to do with you. So the most honest thing to do would be to assist losers in life termination. No one will ever truly accept them.

Maybe a little, when I was younger, at school. But back then I also felt like i was different from everyone else, I just had a lot of coping mechanisms, to not think about it.

As of now, I do not have a sense of belonging, except SaSu, where I feel like at least to some point, I do belong.

I crave connection with people and someone who would love me, but it's so unrealistic to find for me

I did but it's been gone for years and I'm desperately trying to get it back all this time. It's so hard. It's like they said, meds can make you numb or they can correct what is wrong in how you react to things, but your reaction of sadness to a missing sense of belonging is right so the meds have nothing to correct here - it is miserable. Especially as an adult, if you don't already have your village by now you have to make constant effort to build it and keep showing up - which is hard when depressive episodes hit. You're not alone in this 🫂❤️‍🩹
