But I know what the reaction will be

I know that I will be blamed

That I will be mocked

That I will be put down

Why do victims of abuse get patronized so?

Why can't we be accepted and validated?

When "him" is around, I have to leave

Everyone loves "him" but they don't know what he did

I can only hope when I die they will know

Death is better than being victim blamed
