  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Is this a harmful practice? I know I'm fucked up and understand what the professional says. But, I think there's more. I feel I'm overthinking.

I would say yes. It's totally fine to suspect that you may have a problem, but you'll only complicate things by self diagnosing. The best step is always to speak to a doctor for a professional opinion.

It can definetly be helpful, in the sense that some intraspection can definetly help a professional in diagnosing you, though people self-diagnosing and then saying they are OCD or schizo on social media, without any proof and with barely any symptoms are cringy.

Nah - it's the best you've got - you know you best - if someone wants to complain about you being cringy they can call themselves a waambulance - remember psych diagnoses aren't even explanations just descriptions they don't identify causes - and also there may be a world of difference between how you want to improve your quality of life and how professionals want you to "recover(tm)" - the most glaring example of this is how shrinks do harmful behavior modification on autistic people to *take away* their healthy coping mechanisms and neurological quirks - so jettison the dead weight of the professional class and only put stock in people who respect you and center your goals for healing - you're worth it xo

Lol, I that. I've never seen that happen personally. I've scrolled a couple forums. Anything wrong with myself I've hidden from the world. Even my wife or little bit of friendship I have.

Dunno... the shrinks messed me up, so can only do better self diagnosing and self medicating than those charlatans
