Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Yes - some people are heroes because some suicide attempts are mistakes. However, you cannot justify that every single suicide attempt was a mistake. What if you are stopping someone from ending all their pain? We say the point of life is to feel as happy as possible. But is it a real tragedy when someone cuts their losses to minimize all their pain?

I have the same feelings. I understand why people would think stopping a suicide attempt would be a good thing, but in reality, I would be so incredibly pissed if someone stopped me or "saved" me. It's not being heroic, that would be the worst thing anyone could do. Please let us find our peace.

Infringing on the rights of other people will never sit right with me. Our life belongs to us and us alone, nobody should have the audacity to suggest they know better what is good for us than we ourselves.

People always want to assert that they know more about life than us. People want to exert their grand knowledge that there are many positive things in life and extol those values onto us. It's like telling a calm person forcefully, to calm down. When all options and energy has been exhausted, I'm in no mood to try another new thing because they all fall under the same umbrella of stuff that didn't work and will never work because that's the way that I was made.

For me the worst ones are when people get brain damage from being stopped, and they are forced to live with the consequences. It is what I fear. Society pushes the fact that we must live at all costs even if we are in unbearable pain which is cruel. We as humans deserve a right to die. It should be a basic human right to end our lives when we feel is right. I think people are programmed to save others, and many people assume a suicide attempt is not what the person really wants as they cannot imagine that life can really get that bad to want to leave this world, as they are not suicidal themselves.

So true @FuneralCry. My physical health problems have ruined my life. I can't function, I can't go out and enjoy myself, I can't be the mum I want to be and my daughter needs me to be. I'm constantly on the edge of panic. I literally have no life. I can't sit and relax or sleep without meds. Why should I have to endure that? And enduring is all I'm doing.
