• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I've never understood why mental illness is treated as though it's a separate entity from physical illness. The brain is literally a part of your body. It has physical presence in this reality.

I think we fear that if we learn too much about how the human mind functions, we'll discover that maybe there was never such a thing as "control" to begin with. That there is no soul. For a species that define ourselves by our minds, learning that all of our aberrant behaviors and choices stem from physical damage incurred to an organic structure is probably just too overwhelming for the vast majority to contend with...

That testing site is interesting. I've delved into my own DNA and the resulting genetic analysis from a few companies. I've come to the conclusion that usually, having certain genes and chromosome mutations does not necessarily cause the disease that could possibly happen.

So if that's what they are testing the results will be interesting but not conclusive of anything. I didn't read all of their literature but that's what it sounded like. I had found a free site that analyzed my DNA data for various health problems, 200 of them, and don't have the ones they said I would definitely have. There are protective genetics as well as disease genetics, so it's complicated. But still interesting.
The immunoassay test they do is to diagnose a disease?

I'm not aware that is possible unless you are doing one for a specific illness. For example they have one for mycotoxins. One of the tests is a tissue sample. It's a little confusing to a layman to understand what exactly they are testing.
