I'm not suicidal anymore because (i) anytime I make plans I then have nightmares in the nights preceding my plan(s), (ii) I'm too scared of an afterlife immediately after death where I'll regret my action, (iii) I've just accepted, without it bringing me any peace, my life will probably last 100+ years, comprised of nothing but misery...... I will only commit suicide if GOD reveals himself to me not as the Evil monster I fear him to be but as the incarnation of Freedom that will let me opt out of this slavish existence completely e.g he promises me no afterlife of any kind upon my death. Goodbye folks, I'll read your replies for a week or so then I'll delete my account.
