I've never been happy. Was 12 yrs old the first time I tried too kill myself.
Am in my late 50's and have tried so many times over the years,

For me, it is kinda weird. I rarely cried before the brain injuries, maybe once a year?

Now, after the last one, I cry almost every single day. Yes, I am sad, very sad. I wish things were different and I could somehow find the means to go on, but I am pretty much done. It will not be long now.

I'm sorry you have to feel this way all the time, nobody deserves to have to go through that constantly. Sometimes things feel so hopeless and depressing, it can be really exhausting to experience. Sending you hugs

Yep, I feel sad and suicidal non stop, it's basically my personality now. That's how i am all the time

Yes, if I'm not p*ssed off, I'm just in a constant state of emotional turmoil. I'm convinced, atleast for myself, I'm just not allowed to be happy. I want to cry every day, but I just can't. I'm actually not allowed, otherwise I get interrogated on why I'm sad.

Yes, I feel sad much of the time. Thankfully, I do have times when I can laugh or experience the joy and love of my pets, but it's fleeting. I still feel suicidal and hopeless all of the time. It sounds so contrary but that's what it's like for me.
