SA = almost Instant death and no antidote (unlike SN),

it is in pill form unlike SN which must be mixed in water for CTB.

I see. Its definitely better. However, the reason why a lot prefer SN is because of its availability. Just like N, if N is easy and/or cheap to acquire, a lot will go for N rather than experiment with unconventional methods or go through painful means.

I have SN in my closet but I don't like that 20m downtime till death. I will be acquiring N since I kn ow I can't kill myself with SN.

SA is irreversible and in pill form so if I had it I could die even if I cried unlimitedly to EMTs.

That downtime, coming from my own experience, is just going in and out of consciousness. And that is just from a sip (teaspoon) of SN concoction. Knocked me out for a few good hours.

I don't really see the point of touting this substance as a better method if it's exponentially more unobtainable than even N. One might as well be advertising the benefits of unicorn dust as the ideal CTB method. SN probably still wins overall for being cheaper and more accessible (at least for those in the US).

That said, hopefully this SA method does work as well as advertised and one day becomes more available but I doubt it will happen anytime soon from what it looks like.

Yes those traits are nice if true but getting dusted by Thanos's Infinity Gauntlet is superior to every method because it happens instantly, painlessly, and with zero effort required.

To me (and I'm sure practically every suicidal person in this website), this method is currently equally as obtainable as SA at the moment which does a huge part in nullifying its actual usefulness. Like I said, I'm sure SA works great but it's still useless for anyone who can't get it to the point where it might as well be fictional.

Like I said, that would be nice but I don't see it happening on a large enough scale anytime soon. Maybe in another five or so years at best but even that is still rather unlikely and I can't afford to wait that long so I'm still sticking with SN personally.

If i had 5M€ in net worth, I would, I dont know why rich ppl would want to kill themselves but there are lots of them on this forum so they could do the distribution. Even the SA case was a rich woman.

Both are nowhere near as good as N or SP (the gold standard). Both, SA & SN have their pros and cons.

I saw a video by the Peaceful Pill Handbook author Dr. Philip Nitschke where he compares sodium cyanide, sodium azide and sodium nitrite. All of them score differently on different parameters. Let me see if I can get the video.

SA is available in pill form only in Netherlands. What about the rest of the world? Even if we manage to acquire SA (quite difficult), it will be in powder form and we have to do the mixing (like with SN), but it's more dangerous because of its volatile, explosive nature.

EDIT: And of course these salts are not as good as N. Who claimed that they were as good?

I only compare SA to SN but N is above them all as painless death.

Why are people saying that SA is difficult to obtain? I only found out about it about 30 minutes ago and I found a supplier online easily, albeit it's in powder form rather than tablets but it's hardly much trouble to mix 5g in water

Same. I just found this thread. Searched for SA online and found many suppliers. Guess its not easily available in their areas
