There's this semi popular show in the US about people bidding on some kind of garages full of stuff and then try to sell said stuff.
However, these garages are often found at fairly remote places (good), nobody checks them, supposedly (good), and not too many people hang out near them for extended periods of time (good). The only bad-ish thing is that renting one obviously costs money.
Also, I don't know if whoever rents said garages checks them every so often. If the show is to be believed, staff is sent to clean these things only when they're bought/rented. Even then, according to the show, there's a decent chance to find a mummified rat there.
Would it not be a decent idea to rent one prior to ctb and do it there?
Also, the only knowledge I have of these garages is from that show, so reality will probably be quite different. Have you ever rented one, how did it go, and is this indeed a decent idea?

I've had to move a lot for work around the US. I've rented dozens of garages. Most have been in suburbs or on the edge of rural USA. Lots of privacy. But the interiors, unless inside a large building and climate controlled, almost never has access to electrical outlets. And the more rural they've been, the more depressing. Little rickety huts, really. Still, there's almost always someone around checking their stuff, adding/taking away items to/from storage. I wouldn't feel safe there unless I'd chosen a very fast acting method. Let us know if you find out some more.

I've been thinking of location today morning. Couldn't find any forests nearby, so I thought about renting a garage and doing it there. One place looks more like an American max security prison.
These things are difficult to find since I also see actual garages attached to houses being put on rent. Don't want to fuck somebody up with my corpse.
Current plan is SN DSMO in this garage, btw.
