Regularly Scheduled Events

Would anyone be interested in having a few regularly scheduled events? Like a bi-weekly cards against humanity? I've also found this site (https://tabletopia.com/about) where people can play board games online together. Maybe even a covert SS steam group (can't stress this enough if we do something like this, make sure no one can find your personal info on your steam page!!!) if we wanted. Covert because I doubt pro-lifers would be thrilled to see a group dedicated to suicidal people.

I've also seen some interest (https://sanctioned-suicide.net/thre...g-the-philosophy-of-suicide.8424/#post-143359) in discussing philosophy/personal beliefs about suicide in a more organized fashion. Kind of like a salon, but for people like us. We could have it bi-weekly or once a month where a topic (if euthanasia became legal your country should there be an age limit and what should that be?, when do people have an obligation to live?, how should people promote a pro-choice message?, etc.) is proposed in advance so people can have enough time to read about it and discuss later.

Or do you think things like this wouldn't take off? Please let me know

I get wanting to cut down on screen time. I got rid of a lot of social media and felt SOOO much better. I went to reddit because I wanted to still see cute internet videos, see what's happening in the news, hobby subreddits, etc. But even now I can feel it becoming a negative place for me at times

No one would have to come every time. You could just stop by once a month if that fits you better.

I love the idea. It's hard to get a CAH game going at random. It's a nice distraction and it's always good for a few laughs. It got a chat there too if anybody was wondering so we can all still talk while we play. Maybe I'll make a schedule for it.

Yeah, ive been off social media for years now, don't miss it at all tbh. Its all about balance i suppose, life without internet would be really boring too..

The only time I've ever played CAH was while I was locked up in the fist psych hospital. Now that was a hilarious time. Get a bunch of people with maybe a slightly "skewed" way of thinking and you've got a interesting game.

Sorry, my dumb depressed ass wasn't functioning enough to try and get this running.

Recently saw the Christmas thread and wondered if anyone would want to have a sorta online hangout during the holidays? Lasting a few days to accommodate people's schedules since people will be working, be with family, etc. Like maybe Dec 24-26?

I know there's a steam group, just need to get in. And buy games for the steam account I made for SS.com
