I Am The Blade

what is the point
of playing long game
in a maze
I can't remember or describe

torn to pieces
at every junction
I am the gravel you step on
happy to serve

I am the blade
you cut me with
I am the child
you abandoned
I am the reason
for all misery

I can't restrain it
dishing out torture

the only thing
that feels real
the only thing
that makes sense

I am the dog on the corner
going insane

Thanks so much!! Seriously. I wrote a tonnnn of poetry in my teenage years but I took a break for a while. I'm writing music now so I'm getting back into the swing of it. I've been doing one poem/song a day just stream of consciousness and it's been helping me get my feelings out somewhere
