Rapid release of extended release morphine preparations

I've looked for this info online to no avail…

"They" (The Wizards?) say that crushing extended release versions of drugs can lead to overdose due to more of the drug being released more quickly instead of the way it was intended and prepared to be released.

I was just wondering what 60mg of extended release morphine would be equivalent to in rapid release form if I were to grind it up in a mortar and pestle? I know it would indeed be higher than 60mg but can't find any actual figures anywhere and it's annoying!

I know that I could probably taper off my prescribed drugs somewhat to reduce my tolerance, which would help cross the threshold… in any case I think I have enough stashed away to deliver a pretty fatal dose even in extended release form should I need it. But to be successful I think I may need a combo of immediate release and extended release to be successful - having some solid info with regards to dosage in crushed form would be extremely useful.

Does anyone have any information that could help work this out? I.e; what amount of morphine would be immediately released from one 60mg extended release capsule with its contents crushed to facilitate immediate absorption?

Anything anyone can offer would be gratefully received - if you could attach any related sources alongside if you can that would be amazing too!

dude. morphine is shit. it's crap. Idk if that's my smackhead position or what. I don't think 60mg gets you anywhere since you said you got a tolerance. that being said when I was still a small-time junkie in HS, snorting a MS 30 was already a blessing.

you asked very specific questions on pharmacology. and I been out of school too long to remember much of that. 60mg is still 60mg. but apparently you're asking on blood concentrations. and the answer is you gotta tell me your ROA.
