R2D Rebreather and customs

In the European country where I live, we have strict custom controls. The same problem as for dispatch of N. Open the sealed bag reduces the shelf life and its a ticket to the psych ward.

I don't think there's any problem ordering the debreather. Its not a classifed substance or item. i didnt think twice about it and got mine in the uk no problem. I have steong doubts about it though, echoed by some of the members on here. I wouldnt trust it.. Its hard to confidently feel it is indeed airtight unfortunately. Hard to explain unless you have one.
CanadaForever has a better critique of its failings than i could explain on one of the threads about it.

How long did it take to deliver to the UK? & What was the total price once it went through customs? I'm tempted to get one because it's been so uncomfortable when I've attempted partial... I did read the thread with doubts though.

Gosh.. i cant remember exactly, im afraid but I think it was about 2 weeks. I didn't get a customs fee.

I've heard that the shipping company didn't give adequate updates and saw it's a separate company handling shipping, but that's reassuring that it arrived quite quickly.

Yes its true. The shipoing company was quite basic but seems they get the job done.
