Hey ladies
Topic might be a little TMI.

I was wondering if anyone else thinks about their menstrual cycle when planning their cbt date. I postponed mine due to getting my period and was really upset ! Then family decided to come over that next week so even more delays.

I might also be a little vain cause I keep thinking about how my body will be found. In my family, when there is a death the close family wash and help prepare the body for burial.

ha sort of know what u mean ..in that i did a similar thread thinking about whether to get a leg wax before ctb, like wtf!! as if it matters- just an innate kind of thing to think about i guess, so weird!!

Wow I didn't even think about that it makes me so upset to think that my period could postpone my death soon, the thought of being on my period while I ctb is n a s t y

I deal with PMDD and get the most suicidal when I am near or on my cycle, so the urge to ctb is even higher then... I'm not really concerned about dying during my cycle. I use tampons, so it will be fine. I'll go ahead and add a pad in with the tampon if I intend to ctb. But to be fair, when we die we can end up peeing and pooping ourselves, so does it really matter? LOL.

Lol never thought about it. I guess I would wait to not be on my period. I get really bad cramps and it would suck being found dead with a bloody pad or tampon on/ in you. Then again I'm suicidal on an impulse. I try in the heat of a really upset moment, my depression has no standards on when I'm trying to die and how my body will look being found. I guess when we're gone, the embarrassment is left on planet earth.

How has this morbid thought never crossed my mind before? Tbh, I wouldn't really care, no one is going to take off my pants to perform CPR (I should hope not!) and by the time I would be in a mortuary, a sanitary pad shouldn't scare anyone.
