If I doxxed myself in the future, does it really matter much? I know there are rules in place which don't allow you to post yourself/personal info in public but what about just easily sharing pictures or information privately?

I don't see myself living too long, and I don't have much worth anyways. There's not really much someone can do with the information as well.

I'd definitely advise against it on the public forum. Even if you trust members here, there are plenty of people who hate the site and presumably, everyone on here.

As for the damage it could do, that probably depends on you. Do all your friends and family know how you feel? How might it change their behaviour towards you? If you work, might your employer think about you differently?

There's still some risk to telling people in DM's but, it's a personal decision really. Whether you feel like you can trust the person. I think sometimes, both people will disclose their identity so- it's more of a mutual trust thing.

Revealing your identity here on this forum would be a big mistake as there are many agents from USA and UK lurking this forum as we speak. Some of them even have accounts here and pretend to be genuine members.

They can do nothing to me, because I'm not selling anything here, nor offering any services and the laws in my country prohibit anyone to be involuntary committed just because one's suicidal. You can be suicidal as much as you want they cannot commit you.
