Help Question - Would it be a terrible idea to buy toilet cleaner and lime sulfur dip together on Amazon at the same time?

Maybe it's just my anxiety but I worry some Amazon warehouse worker would kinda know what's up be like "Oh shit! This dude might be tryna' make hydrogen sulfide!" and potentially even alert authorities. I know people have already had authorities come to their house for buying the various chemicals used to make meth. Part of me thinks it'd be best to just buy them separate at different times. What do you guys think?

No. Mixing bleach and ammonia makes chloramine which, while still quite toxic and potentially deadly, probably isn't as toxic as hydrogen sulfide which is what mixing toilet cleaner containing hydrochloric acid and products containing high levels of sulfur makes. Probably some of the absolute deadliest chemicals to mix together. Hydrogen sulfide is maybe a notch less deadly than hydrogen cyanide, and even then just barely. Either one can kill you very quickly, and the chemicals required to make hydrogen sulfide are relatively easy to come by whilst the chemicals required to make hydrogen cyanide ain't so much.

Please, take all precautions to make sure noone else breathes your poison. It will kill other people, too, and and is likely to pass through buildings, such as into the appartment below you, like CO would. Please make sure there is noone below you and to post warning signs outside the space you use, to take noone with you. Be aware that the gas is not only toxic, but also flammable.

Make sure to check your toilet cleaner when you get it. Most contain formic acid rather than hydrochloric acid, not what you are looking for.

Can you buy them separately? Maybe even buy something else that fits with the kind of non-ctb activity your product would be used for?

The kind of toilet cleaner I'd intend to buy, Zep Acidic Toilet Cleaner, does indeed contain 10% Hydrochloric Acid. You're right that some do some don't. I'd intend to do it in a tent out somewhere with signs posted on the tent warning others not to enter without proper PPE. "H2S causes a painful death" Sounds like it can depending on how you do it judging by what others here have said. They say it takes about 4-6 minutes to reach 1000 ppm which causes knock down effect (one breath you're out). I've heard them suggest placing myself in a very large plastic bag big enough to fit it, sealing it, waiting a good 4-6 minutes, and then unsealing it and taking a big deep breath. That's probably how I'd do it.

Necro thread but this doesn't seem right? 1000ppm is tiny, 0.1%. So is this really true? I thought it would only take a few seconds at most, if enough reactants were used?

Unfortunately even with high amounts used, it takes a couple of minutes to reach the 1000ppm, there is a video that is shared frequently on threads like this, forgot the name, but you can search the video by typing hazmat h2s test or something.
