No. Milligrams =weight,teaspoons =volume. Some things will be heavier or lighter than sn. You really need a digital scale.

If you were to use the tablespoon measurements for grams, whether it's a salt or a sugar the difference is negligible. The most you're likely going to be off is only a couple of grams and I think most people would just round up to be safe. Given that the recommended SN dose of 25g is an approximation dose to begin with, I wouldn't worry about the slight variations in tablespoon weight. Sure, scale's are only $10 so why not, but if not, using a tablespoon should work fine.
