Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

i will be jumping soon and have a couple questions about some technicalities -

note - i'm only jumping from 9 floors and i'm very aware that there is good enough chance that i make it out alive. i have my own idiot reasons for still choosing to do it

1. considering there's enough chance of me surviving this with may some bad injuries, i was thinking may i would want my phone with me. but i don't see how this would work bcs if i have it on me while jumping, it's sure to break badly. is there some solution to this maybe?

2. kind of a prequel to the first question - if i survive and am not dead on the spot or within minutes, assuming there are some decent injures, would not calling for help increase my chances of dying? "succumbing to your wounds" as they say.

i apologize if any of this is against the rules.

If you have your phone, it probably won't survive.

It is more fragile than your body.

You could try to place it near where you think you will land before going going up.

I highly discourage you from using this method.

It is your life, and your choice, but too many things can go wrong with this method, and 9 stories isn't high enough to maximize success.

Phone most likely won't make it, and even if you don't call for help, depending on the injury you still might not die.

When I almost did this 2 weeks ago, it was impulsive and due to me by chance being on a 7 story balcony.

Time and reading about a failed attempt has given me some necessary perspective.

I have interest in this method still, but will probably choose another method if I ctb.

Since you realize and are thinking about the possibility of failure, see that as your SI, and grab hold of it.

Please don't use this method. It isn't worth living through.

If you survive you will be in hell. Rethink what you are doing.

thank you to every single one of you that told me not to. it indeed is very very stupid and i know that i would not want to live after this bcs it would be a different type of hell. i am trying to figure stuff out with jumping at uni, which is mostly just am i okay with triggering alarms across the entire 40 storey building and possibly risk NOT jumping after doing that. but i'm thinking it over and i'll decide soon. thank you all🧡
