I agree with this. When she gave meds for my depression, my anger issues shot through the roof. Now I'm unable to control my anger. Plus I'm obsessed over small things. I have to check 10 times if I placed my phone at the right place or if I sent the message to the right person. Ugh, It's exhausting. I wish I never visited a psychiatrist.

I get that. I mean it is always risky to say: I will just ctb. Every 20th attempt is successful. So it is not like you are some kind of weird case. I also tried multiple times but It didn't work out. I just need to choose right method. Do not be scared please, It is hard. Just take it calmly. Death will come, freedom will come.

In UK, psychiatrists are part of the system which failing people with mental health problems. People with depression are currently relying on medications which are 30 years old. This drugs don't work for everyone and even if they do the side effects are absolutely horrible. Anything that works fundamentally different way on brain is rejected by NHS straightway because of the cost. Antidepressant spray esketamine was rejected because of the high cost, despite getting UK licence. According to new studies T3 hormone or even modafinil could be beneficial for depression. But everytime I asked for it, the reply was always : 'I cannot prescribe it, it's not on the NHS list'. In translation it means: I can't prescribe it because it's too expensive'. So, if ssri or snri don't work for you, that's it pretty much. You are fucked and you are on your own. And I don't think they even care.
