I can't emphasize this enough, as it seems that every week there are questions about N, and barbiturates in general.

The advent of benzodiazepines put a huge dent in the actual demand for barbiturates. Because they are significantly safer, doctors all over the world just stopped writing prescriptions for barbiturates, many, many years ago.

This left the only demand for barbiturates as right to die organizations and state governments that still used as much for capital punishment. The mfgs of barbiturates then decided that they didn't like the idea that their products were being used for capital punishment (mostly in the US). The main worldwide supplier of Pentobarbital, Seconal, and Thiopental was in Canada. This left only death with dignity, right to die organizations, as the primary customers, which is a teensy, tiny segment of the market. Considering that mfg equipment must be tied up to produce anywhere near a significant supply, it became unfeasible from a business standpoint to do this.

To make matters even worse, Seconal and Thiopental, which have been used in the past as a general anesthetic before surgery, and which are every bit as effective as Nembutal (Pentobarbital), were replaced by newer, more controllable anesthetics, namely propofol. Propofol has a half-life of something like 5 minutes, so when IV administration is stopped, the patient is revived very quickly.

Propofol is readily available from some countries - the problem is it requires a continuous supply, and if you were to try and administer it IV to yourself you would pass out and lose consciousness before you would be able to inject enough to do the deed. It would require an infusion kit and pump, which, unless you are a Healthcare professional is basically not doable.

From what I was told, and this came from someone who works in pharmaceuticals, even in S. America Pentobarbital is being fased out in favor of powerful tranquilizers that are much easier to source and obtain (referring to the veterinary market for euthanasia). Xylazine and Medetomidine, which is 20x more powerful than Xylazine, are what vets are gravitating towards.

In the US, Xylazine has been used by drug dealers feeling the pinch on worldwide fent supplies being drastically reduced. It is not a scheduled drug in the US, so dealers have generally found it pretty easy to obtain in bulk (by the kg) from China. This has led to a rash of ODs over the last few years. Because of the scrutiny on Xylazine now, dealers have now switched to medetomadine, which is also a large animal tranquilizer (think horses and cattle), but said to be 20x stronger than Xylazine.

Unfortunately, there were only a few major biosynthesis labs in China that were producing not only the tranquilizers, but also most of the world's research chemical supply, ie designer drugs, aka nitazenes and benzo variants. In the US they became wise to this year's ago and introduced the "analog act", which means just because you chemically change a drug to alter it's structure by an insignificant amount does not mean it's a brand new unscheduled substance. I suspect most countries have followed suit (Europe, Asia, etc). That doesn't mean research chemicals are unavailable, indeed, many still are and some that are many times more powerful than standard opioids or benzos like Xanax. But there is no question there is a huge shortage right now, as those Chinese mfgs I mentioned earlier were raided and taken down by the Chinese government just a few months ago.

From what I was told, Poland and some Eastern European countries still are producing some research chems. I was also told that Germany still is mfg'ing Seconal, Pheno and Pentobarbital. I don't know how true this is but I was shown a paper that stated something like 5 million tons of barbiturates were mfg'd in Germany in 2023. My friend has no reason to lie, as he's not trying to sell me anything, but maybe that's where South America is getting their supply of N. No doubt India still mfg's thiopental (aka Sodium Pentothal) but I don't know how legit that is.

As general advice, it's worth repeating that if you see N being advertised for sale, on both Dark Net and Clear Net - IT'S A SCAM. Drug dealers are in business to make money, and supplying people who want a total niche drug to ctb is just not even remotely realistic. Why would anyone risk that? They wouldn't, unless they have the IQ of a snail, and if that's the case, they aren't sourcing such an obscure, obsolete substance in the first place. Especially these Clear Net sites that advertise of just helping people peacefully ctb and offering to source it for you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY! These are scams just preying on people. Personally, I hope they burn in hell, but whatever, don't even for a second engage with any of them.

I know I've repeated this info here before, as have many others, but it seems the popularity of PPH brings this question to the forums at least a few times a month.

I despise how substances are getting turned into "Philosopher's Stones", but I guess it doesn't really matter to these people anyway since the goal is to exploit those who are suffering and hopeless.

That's what grinds my gears the most. If you do a search on clear net (with anything other than fn Google) for Nembutal there are several websites offering compassion and just wanting to help you out and being able to reliably source Nembutal for you.

They are preying on people who are vulnerable, like scum going after people like us, who are suffering, as well as people with terminal illnesses rotting away from cancer and little old ladies who have no family left and just want the peace that the modern for profit medical industry won't grant them.

I don't mean to be rude or vulgar but fuck those assholes. Going after people who could be spending their measly social security check on some vague promise of being their knight in shining armor.

Please guys and gals, don't give any of these people the time of day. Don't increase their analytics by even visiting their websites. If any of it was even remotely true, this website and PPH would be all over it.

I don't want to be a debbi downer because I wish it was true just as much as everyone else - why do you think I spent so much time researching this? Anyways, I hope this helps - I certainly understand just as much as anyone else wanting a warm, peaceful deliverance from the dream we label physical existence. It still can be had, but the likelihood that it will involve a barbiturate is exceedingly rare.

Maybe it sounds a bit conspiratorial, but I genuinely feel like within the next couple decades any substance with psychoactive properties or potential for fatal overdose is going to be tightly controlled worldwide to the point where they'll be completely inaccessible to the general public, even with genuine medical need. The needle seems to be moving towards, let's ban anything that has a chance of fatality if misused.

While I know it's still possible in some places, like Mexico, to purchase opiates or benzodiazepines without hassle, in most Western countries it is now nearly impossible to even get these classes of drugs prescribed by a doctor, even if you are suffering greatly and nothing else has worked. There's so much scaremongering about these drugs due to the addictive potential, even though benzos were the safer alternative to barbiturates back in the day.

Whenever I was growing up, it wasn't uncommon to see people being prescribed drugs from either class for chronic pain or psychiatric conditions that weren't improving, now you have to be on death's door to access them in most of the west. There is now a fearful attitude among many in the medical profession, that they would rather decrease the risks to themselves by not having to justify the prescription of narcotics, rather than actually treating patients. Obviously, this creates demand for a black market, one which is heavily cracked down upon, in many countries the punishment for drugs can even be worse than committing a violent crime, so it makes sense why these shops are fearing for their livelihood.

I anticipate it's going to get harder and harder to obtain anything that gives one that feeling of peace in the coming future, creating a rife environment for scammers. It's genuinely depressing, but it seems like most world leaders love the illusion of "safety" and don't give a damn about vulnerable people being scammed and resorting to risky business. As long as you're still living, the amount of suffering or hardship being endured is like water off the duck's back in their eyes, imo.

What you're saying isn't even really removed from reality, world governments have done far worse. We're already on track to destroying anonymity over the internet and being constantly monitored in our real lives.

This is very true. The nanny state is very real and only getting worse. I don't mean to pick on anyone that's religious but a lot of it extends from this holier-than-thou we know what's best for you attitude that originated from the church. Meanwhile, their preacher is 3x divorced, fleeces their flock for money, has 3 vacation homes and is worth millions of dollars. What was that about rich people and needles guy?

I don't mean to put down all religious people, but far too many in the West think their religion is defined by going to church on Sunday when it should be the way they conduct themselves when they aren't in church. Not everybody, but far too many.

I also find it hilarious that alcohol is legal pretty much everywhere in the world when it's the source of 75% of the world's violence - or at least seems like it.

I can't even imagine a world, like the early 1900s, when someone could walk in to a drugstore, order a root beer and a bottle of Nembutal without a prescription or sideways stares.

Just too many people in this world who feel this incessant need to tell other people what's best for them. How about this? How about you people fuck right on off and live your own life instead of pretending like you walk in my shoes? /rant
