Promethazine and propiomazine

I know that promethazine can cause death in large amounts. Recall reading some statement that any antihistamine can cause death if abused, is this true or no? Eg would propiomazine be of any use to me?

I don't know where you got your information from. Pretty much anything, even oxygen and water, in large quantities can cause death. Almost all drugs have side effects even in normal dosages. The undesired effects will intensify as the quantity increases. Any acute or prolonged disturbance in the normal physiology of the body can prove fatal. Never heard anything in particular about these two antihistamines. Mind sharing your resource?

My friend took one of those for a while. The doctor was not worried that it can kill her even though she was going through emotional trauma and may kill herself.

I'm sure if you take enough of them they will most certainly kill you. It won't be pleasant, tho.

Though from a glance at the rest of the web it seems most fatalities involving promethazine have occurred with other medications present. Haven't found anything mentioned on propiomazine to this effect after searching around for a while so case closed?
