There are no anchors in my current residence except for partial hanging... I would like to find somewhere outdoors or in another building that would be private enough that I wouldn't traumatise many people, and also the hanging won't be interfered with, hopefully only first responders who would have had to deal with the body anyway will see it. Any ideas

Tree, garage, tall fence...
Almost anything that will hold you.

Forest, preferably at night so random hikers won't bump into you and interfere in time
Abandoned buildings have a lot of homeless residents especially in winter so if it's cold where you live I would avoid them

Or give them your stuff to leave you alone for a while...

I have no problem hanging myself in the local woods or parks at night, EXCEPT that I don't want my body found by random strangers in the morning. So I am thinking of asking for someone's help to call the police at a specified time and tell them to find my body at a specified place... Like say I go into a park at 2am and get someone to call the police at 3am and tell them where I'll be.

Sounds like a solid plan
Although do you have someone you trust who would follow your instructions instead of saving you?
Also 1 hour window is a close call tbh you'd never know if you end up hesitating for a bit when SI finally kicks in and being found prematurely is bad news

I could stretch the window to two or even three hours but I doubt I'll be very hesitant... I'm one of the more desperate members here probably... cannot wait to CTB...

I would have to rely on some online friends, probably. I could also write with a Sharpie on a tshirt and stick it at the entrance, saying that there's been a hanging and call the police... a courtesy trigger warning I guess. lol

Have you found woods? How do you know if a tree is appropriate for hanging? Just went to the residential area's Park and found a couple trees that could be used. 2-3am would be ideal I think.
At 4am that's when early birds wake up and take the dog out for a walk. Then again I don't know the lifestyle of people in the neighborhood

I encourage you to schedule an email to the local police department for the day after you die to notify them that a corpe will be at whatever location you select. I once discovered a person who had died from hanging, and I found them after a few weeks. It was pretty gross, and probably something you'd want to avoid

Where did you find that person? In the woods? Did it make local news? You called the cops? Was it an isolated spot? Was it cold or warm outside?

This thread has some useful info: https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/trees-to-use-for-hanging-from-a-tree-expert.76256/

I have plenty of woods nearby

I found them in their closet, it made no news, and he had no obituary. I remember the smell exactly. I called the police, but as I was his brother I of course had to do most of the cleaning up. It was also room temperature, but this does not stop maggots and other features of decay after a few weeks.
