pressing on carotid artery according to the wiki produce s headache and nothing else

I am trying to find the location of the carrot artery using the terms as mentioned in the wiki pages. But all I am getting is headache and not going limp at all. I am a male 48 years old and of average build

It's where the pulse in your throat is, under your jaw, near your ear. What rope are you using?

I am just pressing with my thumb the wiki says fainting will happen for q few seconds . Not happening not me

Yeah I couldn't faint doing that either. Rope did though lol ( if I had let it)

Yes both sides tried also at the base of the neck and at the top.

Yeh I've tried the top and bottom as well. I couldn't get it to work. Even did some reading and followed a guide lol.
