It´s mentioned in one of the books, forgot which one.

I just don´t see how you can do it without any medical background. I´m not even sure if I´d be able to get the equipment. But I have no idea about how to practically do that. I once had a young nurse who had trouble drawing some blood and needed help from a more experienced colleague...

I doubt if it´s doable with just a ´book´ and no experience.

starting an IV takes practice- I'm not sure that I'd be able to successfully start one even on myself actually. I can start them on other people but trying to find a good vein and doing it yourself? Maybe it could work. Potassium is extremely dangerous with too high amounts in the bloodstream on the heart and what I remember from nursing school is that it is also very painful. I'm sure if this was the chosen method and one was determined, it could be managed. Another thing is an IV pump is pretty expensive. I looked into it because I considered the same thing being done, but with N

@Empty RN ,

Thanks for that, I assumed as much.

Since you have a medical background, would you have anything to add ? Aside from other issues, I have to deal with somewhat impaired cognitive and motor functions (from negligible to worse) that get worse with exhaustion.
Sodium azide is very hard to get in Europe, I consider sodium nitrite somewhat unreliable (and time+suffering=unknown). Lots of practical problems like no very high places to jump from within a radius of a few hundred kms/miles, no firearms, densely populated although living alone.

Surviving with even more damage to the central nervous system would be very bad.

If choosing to CTB with potassium? Have you considered N?

@Empty RN ,

Potassium would be very hard. I read about injecting the stuff earlier, and it did not exactly seem appealing. It might be hard to inject too !
It was actually a general question.

N: Absolutely. Just waiting to see if the supplier is 'back at work', and I can actually get it. I'm also worried about cross tolerance, especially with benzodiazepines and up to a point some other drugs as well.

@Empty RN ,

See my thread https://sanctioned-suicide.net/thre...eptable-alternative-to-meto.7607/#post-137142 my last current post.

Metoclopramide has action at 5ht3 and 4 receptors, which could matter as an antiemetic. Domperidone has been suggested as an alternative. Would you have any comments about opting for soemthing else than the full dose of meto ? I find meto really hard to tolerate, messed up CNS.
