Pot head, can I bounce back?

Hi,

I smoke pot for years... I started at 14 -15 socially and didn't smoke daily until twenties.. last year i smoked nearly everyday.. if I quit and jumped back into the studying.. would I be able to retain the knowledge? How long does it take to recover? I wonder if after years of drug use with that, M, and occasuonally sno am I still capable... to be at a professional standard..

So many people were pot heads in the past and they were able to stop and had no problems. It's not one of those drugs that cause permanent damage or anything.
