With how difficult it has been to get SN recently I felt the need to look into alternatives. And poppers came deeply into mind with how toxic it can be if inhaled or ingested.

When you inhale poppers too much or over inhale in one time, your blood pressure can drop really fast and you might feel super dizzy or even faint. Your heart can start racing or acting weird, and your head might hurt or you feel nauseous. If you take way too much, you could even pass out.

If someone ingests them, it's way worse. Your blood can't carry oxygen properly, your lips or skin might turn blue, and in really bad cases, it can cause seizures, vomiting, or your heart could stop.

Poppers cause methemoglobinemia if over inhaled or ingested, the same thing that causes you to die from SN.

Everything about poppers is almost exactly the same as SN . I'd like to think of poppers as SNs druggie gay sibling LMAO.

Unlike SN it actually works faster and you are more likely to become unconscious in 2 to 10 minutes.
Also unlike SN you have a higher chance of having permanent damage to you body if you survive.
So in my mind if you follow all the protocols for taking SN you should have the same desired outcome from taking Poppers.

But I must emphasize that ingested any form of poppers is by far the most toxic way to do it, but also a almost guaranteed way to ctb .

If you read my post you'd know that sn and poppers aren't the same things because one is a liquid and the other is a salt like substance.

I could go to my local gas station right now and pick up poppers lol. Absolutely could not just get SN if you have access to poppers anyway, especially in with Canada and wellness checks these days

Drinking poppers wont "just fuck you up" if what you have is poppers, it WILL kill you, unless you are on some medications that can reduce methemoglobinemia.

Also Im curious if my poppers are different than what you got because while the burns arent pleasant, theyre only unpleasant and not really painful.

How bad is the burn?

The burn is terrible. I once used it recreationally with some friends who had it with them at a party. The next morning, when everybody was still asleep, I wanted to feel that lightheadedness once more. I grabbed it from the living table to sniff it, but because I was lying down and still a bit drunk, I accidentally spilled some in my eye. The burn was the worst ever and I thought I was going blind.

The lethality of SN isnt the S(odium), its the N(itrite), anything with nitrites share similar toxicity. So if you have Calcium Nitrite or zinc nitrite, they are also gonna be toxic in very similar ways (exception for things like Mercury nitrite since mercury is also toxic: bigger toxicity). Alkyl nitrites (amyl, Iso, etc) work like that too, theyre just organic nitrites.

The thing about ingesting poppers as a method is that it's likely to cause corrosion in your throat and stomach with could leave you feeling incredibly uncomfortable but if you can manage to take enough you'll go out the same way someone taking sn or kn would have.

You're not being dumb dw. Poppers are indeed 10ml but not 10ml of nitrites. It is 10ml of nitrites dissolved into an alcohol mixture. Its hard to say how much nitrites are actually into the bottle but its not much.

After doing some further research around the internet, I can't find an exact source that confirms concentration. I did skim through a paper that mentioned 10 to 15% concentration per 10ml, and have read through several reddit threads where people have stories such as "dude gave her poppers cause she wanted to try, but she thought she had to drink them and was already drunk, and died from it".

I don't think you need more than 1, maybe 2, if you don't throw anything up. none of the stories mentioned the size of the container but, as far as I understand the 10ml bottles are the standard. thoughts?

Hard to say, but theres high chances you need at least a vial. You could die on one but it depends on the type of nitrite and how much are remaining. Maybe 2-3 vials would be a good shot at death.
Also, people have died on 10ml vials yes but many have survived too. Its a dice roll.
