Poll: favorite type of alcohol

Beer is my go-to, stouts and porters in particular. I can drink just about any beer except those nasty IPAs. As for spirits, spiced rum never does me wrong, and vodka goes in just about anything.

I exhausted the # of poll options, so if you like sake or Jagermeister, you're gonna have to speak up. :-)

Oh there are to many that I like most come out of Colorado though.

I really liked the selection when I lived in the midwest. A lot of the FL beers I've had are a bit too hop-forward for me. Lost Coast Brewery makes a good stout though. Really smooth.

My all time favorite is this ridiculously expensive imported stuff from England - Samuel Smith. I like just about everything they make.

I'm not too finicky... I don't care for vodka straight, same for gin and tequila. In fact, I don't care for gin or tequila at all (even margaritas). I'll do vodka if it's in a mixed drink. Straight, I like a good Scotch. If mixed with diet coke, I like spiced rum and bourbon.

I'm picky about my beers. Ok I'll admit it: I'm a beer snob. :P I like porters and ambers mostly, and mostly local microbreweries.

I like cider too, quite a bit.

so i myself am very into sour ales, otherwise mixing w/ whiskey is a fave--vanilla coke and fireball is super recommended. whiskey sour itself is my go-to drink anywhere i am because you can learn a good deal about a bar tender, or at least a bar, by how they prepare one.

Rum is so cheap, and it doesn't taste that bad. Beer is okay too, but rum has less calories.

London dry gin drunk straight, can't beat it! Especially the export strength 47.3%. It's the only spirit I can comfortably drink straight.

I always drank beer, rum & coke, or a scotch on ice. Sometimes a gin and tonic. Occasionally I'd have something girly like a Smirnoff Ice when I was done being manly and hardcore for the night.
