Discussion Poll about inert gas method

After having read about the inert gas method it seems to me that it's the most peaceful one, yet many people here seem to prefer other methods over it, which makes me wonder if there is something I'm not understanding about the method that would turn away so many people.

I have my full suspension more or less ready-to-go, so adding another method with a similar lethality profile (heavily dependent on the mind state and competence of the suicidal) wouldn't really help in any way but spare me 10±3 seconds of pure agony (might be worth it for some people).

A well executed inert gassing would definitely be up there with N and shotgun, though. I don't feel like I have the skill or need for it at this point, but I like the idea of it.

It's certainly one of the most peaceful methods, but I find the thought of gassing myself unsettling.

I would try that method but I feel I am just to incompetent to set all of that up. That's my only reason

The method is effective but requires equipment that can be found by others. A rope for hanging can hide in plain site with no one giving it a second thought.

i assume that exitbag is best method for me and have no problem with tanks, reductors, etc. moreover, i have all of needed stuff in my storeroom, that makes me less anxiety. but i live in rental apartment and it can be a long time to my body being found, that is exactly i don't wanna do for apartament owner. so, with time i just decided to go with another(outdoor) method.

I think if the party time helium tanks were still 100% helium this method would still be very popular.

Ive considered this method,I would rather use it than SN but its finding the energy to get all the bits together. If someone sold a kit that I could order online from one place I would definitely use it.

I prefer SN over helium method because :
1.Its way simpler to get and use.
2.SN looks less scary.
3.Very little chance of making you disabled

Finding out the helium party tanks are only about 80% filled with helium was a major disappointment for me. Im stuck with something I have no other use for now. Doh!

I am currently looking into this method here. The thing that is confusing me is the amount and size of the cylinder. Some say a 2 ltr tank is sufficient whilst others say no.
