Is Picrotoxin/cocculin a viable method? Does anyone know of any cases? The search feature doesn't seem to be enabled for me as a new user.
What I've found so far is the lowest reported lethal dose in a human is only 0.357 MG per KG, and the LD50 in mice is 15mg/kg. If the mice LD50 applies to humans, someone who is 72kg would need a gram for a 50% chance, and I'd imagine 2 grams would be CTB.
Rutgers University's safety sheet says "A dose of 20mg can produce serious poisoning symptoms in humans.".
I imagine it wouldn't be better than SN in any way other than being easier to obtain. The market price seems to be about $60 per gram, but I also don't know whether they ship it to anyone.
