Method perhaps a fool proof way to combat Si ?

I want y'all opinion on this.
last week while self harming I accidentally cut too deep ( I usually only do surface level since it is summer so I am wearing a T-shirt while my family sees me everyday) and till this moment I have a big scar atleast 20cm in length that I have to constantly hide with creams for now. anyway I bring this up because it is known that when you are on the chair with the noose around your neck it feels impossible to kick no matter but what if you made it your only option? by that I mean what if you give yourself a lot of scars in various parts of your body that can't be hidden in any way. while if your family already knows about your mental health this probably wouldn't do much but if you're someone who managed to hide it from all the people around you then you can't afford to be caught now or they would certainly send you to the ward so your options would be either kick the chair down, suffer for 20sec then die or get caught and suffer humiliation forever (depending on how deep you go) and any reasonable person would choose the right answer. thoughts?

Survival instinct isn't a rational thing, it doesn't matter if rationally dying would be better than living, your brain will still try its hardest to not let you kill yourself

but like 13-15 year olds hang themselves all the time. at a certain point you just have to do it. idk but I feel like that if this isn't working then the only other option is to power through a panic attack
