Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

it gets on my nerves a bit. i was always a human-centric person. i value genuine connection and love over everything and for me, this is my joy and happiness. i don't strive for or need anything else, just sharing a life with someone, loving and being loved, discovering new things together and having experiences is enough.

for some reason other people tend to pathologize my way of life and what makes me happy. it's almost as if they want me to rewire my brain, rewrite my history and change what i am. when you say that relationships and people make you happy, you are seen as a leech, an "incomplete person" that needs to learn how to be happy in solitude, or else there's something deeply wrong with you…

no thanks. i've been in solitude for most of my life. it didn't make me happy. i managed well, but i wasn't happy. i don't care that my idea of happiness and my ultimate life goal don't fit the capitalistic narrative of having your career/hobbies as a center of your life. we are different, and that's okay. i need other human(s) to be happy, and that's okay. i'm simply tired of everyone telling me that it's not normal to be myself.

i'm sorry you feel that way. yea can relate. human connection is for me what makes me happy but i'm incapable of feeling it as it feels like my oxytocin receptors are js completely missing or smth, might be the same/different to you. what is the reason you can't experience connection if u feel comfortable sharing?

It's funny to know they try to pathologize being a normal human being? I always thought us the asocial loners were the focus of psychological studies.

i'm sorry to hear you can't feel it :( for me it's really just as trivial as missing the person i felt truly connected to for the first time in my life. they are no longer in the picture, sadly… i'm not at a point in my life where i feel ready to connect with someone else on the same level.
