Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I talked to some professionals very openly about my suicidality. I was in the clinic they could not do anything. I want that this topic is less stigmatized.
I wrote this once before but I think it is just an interesting fact. A very good psychologist told me he has never experienced a severly depressed person who had no suicidal thoughts. Most of them don't admit it. I am pretty convinced that's true. Most (maybe all) severe depressions are accompanied by suicidal thoughts. In clinic I talked with some people about suicide but only a little bit. I wanted to know their stance on it.
There was this 40 years old woman (who had a crush on me when I was 20 years younger). She had very severe depressions during her lifetime but she told me she never had suicidal thoughts. She was very religious and told me she thinks people who ctb will end up in hell...What a surprise I never called back after she gave me her number. Furthermore I don't believe this bullshit. She described her symptoms I am pretty sure she had suicidal thoughts. But did not acknowledge that.
Another time in the clinic. There was a fellow bipolar woman. Once she asked: "But you never had suicidal thoughts didn't you?" She sounded kind of feeling superior asking this question. I still admitted it.
I don't give a shit about shaming suicidal people. That's disgusting.

There should be less stigma towards it, we deserve a right to die and suicide should be seen as an rational option to end suffering. People don't like to admit they have suicidal thoughts as others panic and they are likely to be placed in a psych ward and are constantly watched. It is the way society is that has made people like that as well as religious beliefs. Many other people who want to keep you alive and haven't suffered as much so they cannot comprehend what it is like, view these thoughts as selfish, which is wrong as people just want to be free from pain.
