People are afraid of ghosts

So I was browsing a completely unrelated forum and someone posed a question about buying a house in which someone had previously CTB-ed. A significant minority of people were freaked out by the thought, as if it might be haunted or something. Most were not overly concerned.

I can certainly understand for people who live with families that it might be hard for them to know that someone died in a particular room of their own house. Even as someone who lives alone, it's almost an argument in favour of going to a hotel or similar (even though that sucks for whoever finds the body).

I saw a document about suicides in Japan. They said that the Japanese believe that apartments in which a person has committed suicide are "evil" and refuse to rent them. A family's daughter had killed herself, so no one wanted to rent the apartment in which she had lived and died, and they had cut the rent by 50% before someone finally rented it.

There was a film in recent Years about Japanese haunts. Really scary. Dont they also ctb to that famous forest.? Loads of Japanese ctb to Aokigahara forest

What's the worst a ghost can do, granted they exist? All they seem to do is switching TV channels, turning off/on the light and moving dolls. Sounds like nice company if you ask me, maybe I wouldn't get abandoned for once.

You may think it strange but i think there are malevolent ghosts that can possess some vulnerable people. I know people who played with the Ouija board and they got fxxxd up
