Pathetic Daydreams About Cuddling

It would be funny if it weren't so distressing. It feels like I've stumbled upon a new self-harm method. Usually, these daydreams fill my thoughts as I drift off to sleep and wake up in the morning. I've never been cuddled like that though except by my mother, so I'm just running on imagination.

There is very little sexual content to these daydreams, which is even more irritating because then I could at least get off somehow and forget for a little while.

We cannot control our thoughts and they really can torture us. It is hard being conscious all the time. It isn't pathetic, as humans we have a need for affection.

No, it isn't pathetic at all. Soothing physical contact is a basic emotional need. People get companion animals to satisfy this need (because humans are not always the right persons to go to).
