Are you sure your only option is partial? It took a long time for me to realize I can do full from a door. Keep in mind that partial is harder than it seems.

Not to upset or deter you but If you are taking advice then noone can give the whole thing and it could be hard this way I think even the person who created this suggested to carry out in diff position and find sweet spots what works for you the knots and everything like putting soap and the material. I think it's hard this is the same reason why I didn't else I had impulse one day but I had to go too far for it and I didn't or couldn't whatever it was I even thought of full who knows it would be painful or not but I would be gone does the pain matter I don't know but either of these didn't seem easy to me and I couldn't practice so.

There is a megathread on here for partial hanging. I've never attempted so I cannot share any experiences of my own. I understand not wanting to fail the attempt, that is why I have never personally attempted.
