how much oxalic acid could kill a person? i tried mixing a teaspoon of oxalic acid to my drink a few nights ago and i've been wondering to why there aren't any side effects to my body.
Seems like a HIGHLY UNRELIABLE way to kill yourself. I would not pursue this method. You are more likely to severely injure yourself and then have to "live" with the damage.
"Christison and Coindet contributed a valuable article on the subject to the Edinburgh Medical Journal of 1823. They reported on eleven cases of oxalic acid poisoning. In every instance the poison was mistaken for Epsom salts, and the quantity varied from 3 drachms to 2 ounces."
