I live in an area that can experience a lot of snowfall. If I were to order N during the winter months, would the cold temperature effect the quality of the N in the package while it's outside waiting for me to retrieve it?
Ideally I'd get to the package as soon as possible, but if it's left outside for a couple of hours in the snow, would the frigid atmosphere compromise the contents of the bottles?

Still curious if the liquid in the bottles 'freezing' would mess with the quality.

This really doesn't respond to your question but seeing how trusted sources become unreliable so fast I would order it as fast as possible while I still have got the chance even if I were to ctb later.

PPH recommends keeping them cool, but not frozen. I've heard of some people freezing them. I think it wouldn't be great for it, but would probably still work. I think the risk is partly if the glass itself will shatter if it's not made to be kept at cold temperatures. There's definitely a risk that you could lose your money if the bottles bust open during shipping.

Unfortunately I haven't accrued enough funds to order from him yet. :mmm:
I get money for Christmas and for my birthday, which are both in the colder months, hence why I was worried about the state of the bottles if I were to order at that time.

Isn't N mixed into some form of alcohol? It might change the freezing temperature if that is the case.

This page says it is 40% propylene glycol which according to Google freezes at -74.2°F/-59°C. Obviously different brands probably have different mixes. For example, they cite 50mg/ml, but most N we can buy is 65mg/mL.

So would that mean it wouldn't freeze as easily?
(Sorry if I misinterpreted this).
