Ordering from DMC

Someone on here sent me the DMC link ages ago. It looks legit (you can choose from either 100/200 g and pay using Airbnb). I went to checkout last night and noticed some new payment options that looked a bit easier to use. The one I chose involves me recieving a unique link and entering my payment details (which now that I think about it, sounds a bit dodgy. I was so excited to order SN haha). Anyway, I haven't even touched the link yet but woke up this morning to emails from one of my accounts for something saying that the email and password had been changed. Someone had also tried to log into my Microsoft account. I'm just curious as to whether or not these two events are related, and if it's safe to even order from my DMC website?

I have no idea how my Microsoft account got involved but it's the same email as the one I entered on the website when I was checking out.

Even though the account stuff is probably a coincidence (especially since you didn't click the link), I'm still kinda weary about that payment method. Make sure the linked site is actually owned by a reputable bank or money transfer company before entering your credit card details.

If it helps, I ordered from DMC (my SN arrived yesterday!) and I haven't had any security issues or welfare checks. I used Western Union money transfer and had it delivered to a PO box, so I was able to pay with cash and the only sensitive information I had to give him was my legal name and the city I live in.

I've never had to be discreet about ordering anything and I'm not very tech savvy but are people using their regular email or setting up a fake one?

I made a new email address specifically for communicating with DMC, and I used a fake name until I had to use my legal name as part of my shipping address (but now that I think of it I probably could've kept using the fake name). I'm not sure how worthwhile the effort of trying to stay anonymous was, but I wanted to stay as safe as I could. I think a bit of paranoia is ok with this sort of thing, lol. I didn't want to slip up and get a welfare check and/or get my SN taken away.

Just made an order with them used a different email address just for that. Really fast communication and my order was shipped already. Didn't notice anything strange or off about it so I'd say maybe it was just a coincidence?

how long did the delivery take once arrived in US.

my order arrived in the US on the 13th but the delivery days eta arrival seem to keep going up. It was 11 days now it lists as 16 days in sorting

About a week, it arrived Oct 28 in the US for processing, took 4 days to get to a sorting center, then was delivered on Nov 4. I think it was a pretty quick delivery and you should probably expect 1-2 weeks upon it arriving in the US. I think UPS contract with USPS expired recently, which could potentially drive up wait times. Keep in mind the order was registered for tracking on Oct 20, so the process took around 15 days in total for me.

I know asking this usually ends up in getting told to go search using the hints already out there but is there any hint you could give me to help me find where to buy SN I am trying some other methods here eventually but It'd be nice to have a backup like SN around.

I don't think anyone has ever ordered 200g as 100g is more than enough. Out of curiosity, why are you ordering so much?

Backup and to test. Would like to keep the one for use sealed. But maybe better to just test it at time if use and go from there. But I'll prob just go with 100g.

Hey, while I have you if you are familiar with the process how important do you think it is to hide your identity when ordering? Or not a concern at all. It's a lot of lengths to go to. I'm thinking of getting a PO box but other than that plan on just using my info. Don't think it should matter should it?

Do you live alone ? Are you trying to hide your internet and banking activity from anyone. Are you concerned about repercussions in your country where you will receive the product?

For me I wanted to have some distance between myself and the transaction. I set up a new email address to do it and a payment method that would protect my card / bank accounts. I didn't really bother with crypto and the more anonymous method as I'm on my own and no one is looking over my stuff. I did however keep a distance between the transaction and my account. I was really worried but since then I've noticed not one person has had issues receiving it. I think perhaps the ones who claim all of the frightening things are either really bad luck, living at home with parents who found their mail or trolls.
My shipment left the Ukraine and cleared customs there. Unsure of how long the next part will take but I don't think more than a week. I will update again when it reaches me. DMC sent updates on when it was shipped, tracking etc process and communication continues to be easy.

I don't think I have anything else to add that what I wrote. If you have more concerns then use the anonymous methods provided like crypto or the other unique one. If you don't really have those then use a more regular payment method. On the end though it's about what you feel comfortable with, not what other people did.

Thank you. I just wasn't sure what you meant by keeping distance. I'm not comfortable with any of it, truthfully and didn't want to leave any kind of trail for someone to trace. But that's probably not entirely possible and I may be overthinking the whole thing.

I simply meant not using your bank card or named credit card in a direct transaction. So using an intermediary where you deposit money to a second service and then use that to send it to protect your card. I think it's easy to overthink i was doing the same thing. I'd say just try and relax there is people posting everyday they received their purchases and with no complaints. So I'd say just order and try to distract yourself for the next week so you don't get anxious.

I guess it depends on who you are ordering from. I know with dmc it is highly unlikely I need to test it. I also do not know how to test it as I haven't looked into it.

I was considering using a po box/parcel Locker, but in the end thought what the hell, I'll take the chance and get it sent directly to my address. It turned out fine, no issues at all. No cops knocking on my door (yet). I also had a look at other Aussies who ordered sn (I'm from Australia) and saw what their experiences were like. Took the chance and got lucky.
