My birthday is tomorrow and I haven't heard from any of my friends in about 3 days. I showed them one of my finished projects they knew I had been working on for months and simply left me on read. It's just kind of funny because I'm planning to ctb in a couple of months and I know they're going to be dumbfounded and sad saying "she could've talked to us." Or "why didn't she reach out?"

Hate when they leave you on read too. If you can read the message, have the decency of responding/acknowledging. You're so right Iwishiwasagrog, "friends" like that will act all surprised when someone is gone and say they can't understand why they didn't reach out to them.

I'm sorry you have had to deal with people like that. People can be very disappointing and they only seem to care when it directly affects themselves. I would prefer to just stay away from people personally. I wish you the best in whatever happens.
