I've been around pitbulls all my life, and only once have I met a mean one. I was 10 and my neighbor had 3 that he would beat and starve. At that age I didn't know what I could do to help them, so I just stayed out of my back yard so I couldn't see them. When I did see them I would start crying and not stop for probably an hour.

Now I travel around saving animals from abusive situations and rehoming them with people who will love them back to happiness and health. Regardless of what the animal is. Typically though, it's dogs and very commonly pits.
I have a pit bull. He is the biggest baby ever!
I am so sad you had to see that. :(
I am glad you are now helping animals . :)

The last furbaby I had. This was taken Winter 2009. Her name was Fancy and she was adopted from the local Humane Society when I went to volunteer. 45 minutes after arriving, I'd fallen in love instead of volunteering. I had to rehome her in 2010 due to a long distance move and severe financial constraints. I was also becoming increasingly allergic to her. I trust she had a great life with her new family too. Looking at the photo now, I see the last natural tree I had was crooked. How fitting! 17447 225631372166 3101243 n

Some of my best conversations are with this little fella. Seriously, I swear, he talks back. Hehe

Just figured I'd share some of "me" since I've been more active lately. :) How can you not smile after looking at this face????

Care to share your fur-babies?

He's adorable. This thread made me smile. Thank you!
