One last trip

i am mari. i am very new to this forum and all this stuff and whatever. when i turn 21 i will take one last roadtrip to the grand canyon and jump into it. until then, i will try and find something in life that makes me change my mind.

there is a trope in life where teenagers become really negative and jaded by growing up, but eventually they become more softened and positive once they reach adulthood. it is also common that people in bad situations get subservient and eventually get used to their bad circumstances. I believe the world as a whole is bad. younger people realize this but eventually ignore it and get used to it when they are older.

This is my train of thought right now. for the next three years i will try and find something to change my mind. in the next three years i also hope i can find someone to accompany me in my death. i wouldnt wish death on anybody but i would hate to be alone for my last trip.

i understand every person ever. i know why everyone quits, cheats, kills. i understand the emotions that lead to these things, i forgive you all.

Good on you for giving yourself a chance to find something better. Good on you for being honest about where you are in life, how painful it is, and giving yourself options. I may not know you, but I'm proud of you. I hope you find people here who you can talk to. I will talk to you if you need to.

I admire your thoughtful, rational perspective on life. I hope you do find that thing that gives your life meaning. A trip to the Grand Canyon whether at the end or during your life sounds like a great thing to see.

people who do bad things and feel guilty can be forgiven. people who do bad things and dont feel guilty cannot be. the people on here who have done bad things feel guilty enough about what theyve done to end their lives; they can be forgiven.
i truly want the world to be a good place. everytime i do something bad i think about ending it because every bad thing i do brings the world further from a good place. i believe the people who have done bad and ended up on this website share the same sentiments. guilt is a form of compassion, and compassion is the greatest thing to live for.
killing someone else, millions of other people, and feeling no guilt about it, is not excusable. there is no hitler on this forum because the people who want to die on this forum feel bad for what theyve done. hitler didnt kill himself out of guilt. he killed himself because he was scared of consequences.
